I would like to know why this poor child was treated repeatedly in the ER for serious burns and a dislocated shoulder....while in the care of the adoptive parents.

I *love* "Heart of the Matter". Have their DVD set, from when they were doing their training that way. They really paint the picture so accurately, and give such great advice.

Ditto that, what a nightmare, skywat!! The only salvation through this is that at least you had your child with you. Can you imagine the heartbreak if you didn't have custody and he was institutionalized through the entire ordeal...? I admire you for taking on the battle with the regional courts...

We talked generically about a sibling. We didn't tell our daughter till the day we picked up our baby boy from the hospital. She adjusted very well and was thrilled. Best Wishes

OK, with you describing this big change today, I'm wondering about allergies. Especially to food dyes, chemicals, possibly to certain foods. If a person has allergies, and their "load" of items they're allergic to is lower one day, it can make a huge difference. Even if all FAE etc....
